As with any remodel, there was a punch list of odd and ends… Because the punch list tasks were superficial and there was no urgency to complete them, I let it slide for many months. But I’m proud to say that no detail has been left unfinished!
One of the great advantages of DIY projects is that you can go as fast or slow as you choose. No waiting on contractors to finish key task and significantly delay the process.
We were only without a functional kitchen for 3 weeks, and the kitchen was complete within 6 weeks of demolition (with the exception of the punch list, of course).
As I mentioned in an earlier post, the planning and Design made an efficient execution possible.
